Group Therapy

Our groups aren't built solely around giving advice or fixing problems—they're built around helping people grow.

Every session intentionally balances three key elements:

  • Building Connections: Developing authentic relationships and realizing you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

  • Building Skills: Learning practical strategies for communication, emotional flexibility, confidence, relationships, and handling everyday stress.

  • Sharing Experiences: Reflecting on real-life challenges, learning from one another, and recognizing the value of different perspectives.

We believe that some of life's most meaningful growth happens when people feel accepted for who they are, challenged to move toward what matters most, and supported by others who truly understand their journey.

Summer 2026 Group Offerings:

The Connection Series | Supportive Groups for Teens & Young Adults

Growing up isn't always easy—but you don't have to navigate it alone. The Connection Series offers age-specific groups where teens and young adults can build meaningful relationships, develop practical life skills, and gain support from others who are in a similar stage of life.

Connections (Ages 13–15)

Building Confidence. Finding Your People.

The middle school and early high school years are filled with change. Teens are beginning to develop a stronger sense of identity, navigate increasingly complex friendships, manage growing independence, and learn how to handle social and academic pressures.

This group provides a supportive space where young teens can connect with peers who are experiencing many of the same challenges while developing confidence, communication skills, emotional awareness, and healthy ways of responding to life's ups and downs. Each meeting blends skill building, meaningful conversation, and shared experiences, giving members opportunities to practice new ways of relating to others while realizing they are not alone in what they're going through.

The atmosphere is relaxed, engaging, and interactive—more like a supportive community than a traditional therapy group.

Next Chapter (Ages 16–18)

Confidence for Life Beyond High School.

As high school progresses, the questions become bigger. Relationships become more meaningful, independence grows, future plans begin to take shape, and expectations from school, family, and peers often intensify. These years are about discovering who you are and who you want to become.

This group offers a place where older teens can slow down, connect authentically with peers, and navigate these important developmental milestones together. Sessions thoughtfully balance practical skill building, open discussion, and genuine peer connection, helping members strengthen communication, build resilience, clarify personal values, and approach life's challenges with greater confidence. Members often discover that hearing others' stories can be just as powerful as sharing their own.

Common Ground (Young Adults | Ages 18–25)

Navigating Adulthood Together.

Emerging adulthood is exciting—but it can also feel uncertain. Whether you're in college, starting a career, figuring out relationships, living on your own, or simply trying to determine your next step, this stage of life often comes with more questions than answers.

Common Ground brings together young adults who are navigating similar transitions and looking for both connection and direction. Together, members explore the challenges of building independence, developing meaningful relationships, managing stress, finding purpose, and creating a life that aligns with what matters most to them.

Each session balances practical life skills, honest conversation, and authentic peer support, recognizing that growth happens not only through learning new strategies but also through feeling understood by others who are walking a similar path. The environment is intentionally welcoming, conversational, and "less therapy-ish" while remaining grounded in evidence-based approaches that foster resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
